What is a vitamin D deficiency?

He doesn’t just talk about vitamin D deficiency, he goes way beyond what I consider to be conservative dosing.  It’s  a fascinating thing to feel more conservative than an older M.D.  The underlying reality has to be that we’re pretty deficient as a population.  I think regular testing should probably include Vitamin D blood levels as part of screening for patients in Maine.  We know we aren’t getting it for months of the year.
