Allergies: Treat Now for Spring.

Clumps of yellow pollen on a flower head.

Since most of my patients have been coughing this past week, it is unlikely any of them are preparing for the spring allergy season.  But right now is a great time to start doing diet support and desensitization for the spring allergies.  If you wait until April, chances are good you’ll end up doing exactly the same suppressive therapies you did this past year.

Local honey is an easy way to start desensitizing yourself to local pollens.  It won’t work if the pollens are not your issue, but because most people aren’t likely to get gung-ho about this, honey is a starting place.

If you feel inspired to start something more, you can check out my allergies updates.
