We need to take the time during hot spells to understand that, even though we are hydrating it is likely that a few days of hot weather will deplete our electrolytes. Be sure to replenish those electrolytes (sodium, potassium, and magnesium) with a large salad. For those who cannot stand veggies, how about a banana and two squares of dark chocolate?
